Personally I have been taking and gathering photos for the past 2-3 yrs of found objects around the city and imagining the stories behind each item. But these images across the border takes the depths of images and their story to a whole other level. Thanking for making this project happen. I take my hat off to you.

ciao!

The hand embroidery is especially poignant... Makes you wonder and think about the person who thought this was a special item, very important for the journey north. These objects represent so strongly the people who crossed (maybe) and left them behind.
